The AF actuator is based on actuators that utilize electrostatic forces to move a lens with optimal positioning precision and repeatability.
OptiML AF + Shutter module achieves focusing functionality by moving a single lens element along the optical axis with a (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) MEMS stage. Positioning precision and repeatability capabilities are achieved through DOC’s unique and proprietary MEMS silicon designs.
OptiML Zoom eliminates the drawbacks of conventional zoom technologies while significantly advancing what is possible in a mobile device. By combining a custom lens design with innovative image processing, it enables 3X zoom capabilities.
